concerts.<\/div>\n<div>Igudesman and Joo \u00a0are two\u00a0young musical friends who have chosen to make a career out of poking fun at classical music while delivering thoughtful, real musical performances interspersed with the humor.\u00a0\u00a0 Here is an example of their mashing up classical music with a &#8220;Russian accented version of I Will Survive&#8221;<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Xui7x_KF7bY\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe>j<\/div>\n<h3><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><strong>Master Class and Concert by Leon Fleischer<\/strong><\/h3>\n<div>Leon Fleischer is 88 years old and going strong as performer, conductor, master class teacher, and collaborator. \u00a0In 1964, Leon developed <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Focal_dystonia\">focal dystonia<\/a>, a curling in of fingers, which put an end to his concert piano career. \u00a0Instead of giving up music, he transitioned into conducting, and returned to performing left handed literature only. \u00a0 After 40 years, through physical therapy and the use of Botox on his arm, he was able to regain much, but not all, of his right hand use.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>His\u00a0exquisite concert \u00a0included the beautiful solos performances of <em><strong>\u00a0Sleep May Safely Graze<\/strong><\/em>, <em><strong>Claire de Lune,<\/strong> <strong>Chopin Mazurka and Nocturne in D Flat<\/strong><\/em>, and duets with his wife, Katherine Jacobson-Fleischer. \u00a0 Leon\u00a0 also takes time to perform collaboratively with his son, a jazz singer in New York.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 .<\/div>\n<div>These two examples show that there are many avenues to making music beyond the traditional concept of solo artist, indeed a creative and musically open mind\u00a0can experience many new and fulfilling areas of music making.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Here you can see how Mr. Fleischer despite the handicap of \u00a0curled fifth finger, creates the sublime and intimate rendition of Bach&#8217;s Sheep May Safely Graze.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/GyOEOuUPvM0\"
