Visiting Millikin
Summer 2009

Julie and Reno Lovison decided to take a quick trip downstate to visit some friends and family, beginning with a rendezvous at the family farm of a former Millikin roommate and lifelong friend in Vermillion County.

Julie Lovison is a Millikin University Music Education graduate. She studied with Margaret Peterson and also taught in the Millikin music prep department for one year after graduation.

Since the trip included heading west through Decatur to Springfield to see the Lincoln Museum it seemed like a perfect opportunity to visit the Millikin campus to relive old memories and see the significant architectural changes.

Julie is the director of the Lake Shore Music Studio in Chicago providing piano lessons for all ages.
